We're hosting Burnt Orange Theatre's yoga sessions for 14-25 year olds
We’re delighted to welcome Burnt Orange Theatre to The Creighton Centre, where they’ll be running Yoga for Young People — a brand-new programme offering free Vinyasa yoga sessions for anyone aged 14–25.
We’re thrilled to be offering our space free of charge to support this fantastic wellbeing initiative and to encourage more young people to discover what The Creighton Centre has to offer. These sessions are a wonderful way to bring movement, mindfulness, and creativity into our community.
Led by Amelia, a professional facilitator and movement artist, the sessions are open to all experience levels — no yoga background or equipment needed (mats will be provided). Participants will explore energising flow sequences and grounding meditation, discovering yoga as a creative and confidence building practice.
The programme is especially designed for young people who may not usually take part in sport or physical activity, but who want to connect with others, build wellbeing, and feel good through movement. Each session is supported by Burnt Orange’s Youth Board Assistant Facilitators, offering opportunities for young leaders to gain hands-on experience in facilitation and creative careers.
