A year of connection, community and care – our Impact Report for 2024/25

Homeline recipient Yvonne with green doctors bagToday we are delighted to share The Creighton Centre’s Impact Report 2024/25, highlighting a year of connection, community and care across Hammersmith & Fulham and West London.

The report celebrates the work of our Community Centre, Homeline, Learning Disability Outreach, Keep Active, and Care & Repair services and the many volunteers, partners and local residents who make our mission possible. It also features personal stories from participants and volunteers that bring to life the difference our services make every day.

People at the heart of our work

From volunteers to participants, from older neighbours to adults with learning disabilities our Impact Report features many personal stories. One volunteer reflects:

“I really enjoy volunteering at The Creighton Centre because when I’m not feeling good about myself it makes me feel good to know I’m coming here to help someone else make their day even better.”

And an older exercise class attendee says:

“After retirement there is no structure to the week so it is good to have something to do on a regular basis, to feel useful and to meet other people and to feel appreciated.”

These voices remind us that our work is more than numbers it’s about friendship, dignity, belonging and hope.

Thank you to everyone who made this possible

This year’s achievements would not have been possible without the dedication of our incredible volunteers, the generosity of our funders and partners, and the commitment of our staff. The Creighton Centre’s Chair Lee Smith said:

“Our Impact Report shows the real and lasting impact that The Creighton Centre has on the lives of local people. Whether supporting older neighbours, empowering adults with learning disabilities, or providing a welcoming community space our Centre continues to be a vital part of our neighbourhood. My thanks go to our amazing staff, volunteers and funders for everything they do to ensure that we continue to be a community anchor for the people of Hammersmith & Fulham.”
