We’re delighted to be launching a new Art for Fun programme for anyone aged 60+, delivered in partnership with Heatherleys School of Fine Art.

Led by an experienced art tutor, these relaxed and friendly workshops are designed especially for beginners. There is no need to have drawn before — just come along, try something new and enjoy getting creative alongside others.

Learning a new skill can be a wonderful way to build confidence, keep the mind active and discover abilities you may not have known you had. The sessions will also offer a warm and welcoming space to meet new people, enjoy conversation and spend time doing something positive together.

The workshops will run fortnightly for three months, beginning on Tuesday 14 July, from 2pm to 3.30pm in the Small Hall at The Creighton Centre.

The sessions are completely free, and all art materials will be provided.
